Ministry to submit rural water committees bill to congress

Chile's public works ministry will submit a bill to congress next month aimed at institutionalizing rural drinking water committees, the ministry announced. The bill aims to strengthen these committees and turn them from organizations that only manage the resource, to pro-active organizations that push forward efforts to improve service.
