Pemex Jan-Sep hydrocarbons output up 4%

Mexico's state oil company Pemex's hydrocarbons production for the year through September increased 4% to 4.63 million barrels of oil equivalent a day (mboe/d) from the same period 2002, the company said in a statement. Crude production rose 6% to 3.36 million barrels a day (mb/d) and natural gas liquids (NGL) production was up 0.24% to 414,000 barrels a day (b/d). Crude exports averaged 1.83mb/d, up 9% at an average price of US$24.7/b, with Maya heavy crude accounting for 1.6mb/d, Istmo light crude 22,000b/d and Olmeca extra-light crude 208,000b/d. Refined products production rose 4.64% to 1.58mb/d, of which 174,000b/d were exported. Imports fell 10.2% to 352,000b/d. Total petrochemicals production rose 3% to 7.66 million tonnes, of which 582,000t were exported. Imports rose 133% to 454,000t. Natural gas production rose 1% to 4.48 billion cubic feet a day. Imports increased 29.4% to 7.39 million cubic feet a day.
