PrimeSys H1 sales up 40% for 2003

Brazilian network solutions provider PrimeSys saw its first half revenues rise 40% to 132mn reais (US$44.6mn). The company said in a statement that growth resulted from expansion of the client base. PrimeSys expects to maintain the 40% growth rate for 2003, which would translate into sales of 310mn reais for the year. A subsidiary of Portugal Telecom (NYSE: PT), PrimeSys won outsourcing contracts two years ago to manage the telecoms networks of two of Brazil's largest private banks, Unibanco and Bradesco.
