SSA Global donates software to Tech de Monterrey

US business software developer SSA Global Technologies has provided Mexican university Tecnologico de Monterrey with software licenses to familiarize computer programming students with business applications, Mexican news service Notimex reported. The agreement with the Tecnologico de Monterrey could be extended to other universities in the country, SSA Mexico sales director Guillermo Gavilondo said. Executives in Mexico's software industry have long complained that university graduates lack the skills and education to rapidly enter the workforce. In some cases, businesses that hire software design graduates must invest an additional 18 months of training before they are ready to work on projects.
