Sonami names its new Enami director

Chile's private sector miners association Sonami has appointed Patricio Céspedes, as its new director to sit on the board of national mining company Enami, local evening daily La Segunda reported. Céspedes is the association's regional president in the mining town of Antofagasta in the country's region II and will replace Hugo Grez, who is stepping down in accordance with Sonami's procedures for appointing its representatives, the report said. The other Sonami representitive on the Enami board, Alberto Salas, will continue as a director.
