Bnamericas
The Brazilian and South Korean governments are in talks to open an IT center in Brazil, federal government news service Radiobrás reported. Both governments also announced that Brazil would host a conference about bilateral science cooperation in the IT, biotechnology, space and energy sectors to be held in July. The announcement was made during President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's visit to the Asian country. Brazil's president will also visit Japan, where his delegation expects to sign bilateral contracts worth US$2bn, local news agency Agência Estado reported. One of the contracts will be signed between Brazilian IT firm Procwork Tecnologia Informática and Japanese E-Meta Software Factory, bringing Brazilian software to Japan.
