UTE calls for wind power interest

Bnamericas
Uruguay's state power company UTE will accept expressions of interest through October 31 in developing a wind power project, according to company information. UTE is sounding out interest for two possible generation capacities, 5MW and 30MW. Companies should submit technical, financial and economic information that would allow UTE to evaluate its participation in a wind plant. UTE's role could be as the owner of a turnkey plant, or as the offtaker of the generation project. Further information is available from eolica@ute.com.uy through October 15, as well as website http://www.ute.com.uy/Empresa/entorno/eolica/Convocatoria%20a%20expresiones%20de%20interes%20Parque%205%20y%2030%20MW.pdf
