ACEN elects a new board

At ACEN's 2023 Annual Meeting of Members, a new board of directors was elected, which appointed Sebastián Novoa, Executive Director of Evol Services, as president, for the second consecutive period of 2 years, and Vannia Toro, General Manager of Emoac, as vice president. Daniel Soto, Commercial Manager of Cinergia Chile, who was also elected as treasurer, Carlos Ducasse, Chairman of the Board of Imelsa Energía, and Juan Francisco Friedl, Director of Commercialization at GR Power, remained in their positions as regular directors.

In this context, Novoa pointed out that “I would like to thank those who participate in this Association, for me it is an honor to have their confidence again to preside over ACEN in this next period. We are experiencing the energy transition day by day, with all the complexities that this implies from a technical point of view, for the market and above all in terms of costs for end users. It should be noted that the Chilean Association of Energy Marketers, ACEN, created in 2019, brings together companies that carry out activities of commercialization and aggregation of electric energy demand, and that unite with the purpose of promoting public policies and good practices that increase and favor competition in the Chilean electricity supply market.
