Aecom awarded management services contract for national highway network project

US-based firm Aecom (NYSE: ACM) has won a six-year contract to provide project management services for phase 1 of Trinidad & Tobago's national highway network project, which has an estimated cost of US$2.44bn, the company said in a release. Aecom expects revenues in the first year of the contract, which will be negotiated on a yearly basis, to be in excess of US$10mn. Phase 1 will be delivered in six project packages and will entail the oversight of construction of approximately 202km of highways, highway extensions, new freeways and a new causeway, the release said. Aecom is a global provider of technical and management support services to the transportation, environment and energy sectors, among others.
