Almonte receives a visit from Siemens Energy Mexico executives; express interest in cooperating in the country's energy transition

The Minister of Energy and Mines (MEM), Antonio Almonte, received a visit from executives of the Siemens Energy Mexico company, who highlighted the effort made by the Dominican Republic to become the main country in foreign investment in energy in Central America and the Caribbean.

Likewise, Siemens Energy took advantage of the occasion to present the company's new representative in Latin America, Fabio Chávez Álvarez, who made himself available to the authorities of the electricity sector in order to continue strengthening the national electricity system.

In addition to Messrs. Tim Holt and Fabio Chávez, the board was made up of Aniela Carolina Marval Moreno, General Director of Strategy for LATAM; Priscilla Zozaya Segura, general director of Government Relations in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean; Luis Felipe Cantor Babativa, director of Transmission and Distribution Sales, and Jorge Segura, general manager Siemens Energy Caribe.

While Minister Almonte was accompanied by the Vice Minister of Savings and Efficiency, Alfonso Rodríguez, and Carolina Sánchez, in charge of the MEM's International Relations Directorate.
