The modernization works of the Acaray Power Plant will be carried out in the 220,000 Volt, 66,000 Volt and 23,000 Volt yards, including the complete replacement of the power equipment (operation and measurement) currently installed, as well as the modernization of the Measurement, Protection, Control and Automation System, in order to establish a modern control architecture, with the advantages of versatility and reliability for the Substation.
It is worth mentioning that the new 220,000 Volts yard will be in the configuration of double sectioned main bars, in aluminum tubes. It also includes the construction of civil works for foundations and cable channels, relay booths and auxiliary services.
