Andean NOCs launch service calls

Peru’s state oil company Petroperú issued a call for bids to review and validate the detailed engineering for the new Ilo fuel terminal.

BNamericas reported last month that the NOC had hired Cesel to update the engineering to complete construction of the US$48.6mn complex.

Offers for the service contract are due on April 21, according to procurement information, available here.

The depot will cover current and forecast demand in the southern coastal regions of Moquegua and Tacna, and potentially the inland regions of Puno and Madre de Dios.

The terminal will be able to handle vessels up to 60,000DWT and will boast initial capacity of 293,000b. An expansion would take capacity to 1.05Mb.

ECUADOR

For its part, state oil company Petroecuador launched a tender to provide specialized technical service for the integral management of hazardous waste generated at the 110,000b/d Esmeraldas refinery.

Bids for the 730-day, US$4.2mn contract are due by April 24. Reference terms are available at this link.

In a related note, Petroecuador documents show that a contract was recently signed with a local consultant to conduct a cost determination and analysis of monetary flow scenarios to address shortfalls at the 45,000b/d La Libertad refinery.
