Aneel authorizes Celg to hike tariffs 11%

Brazil's power regulator Aneel has authorized Goias state distributor Celg to increase tariffs by an average 11% from Friday, clearing the way for distributor Chesp to lift its tariffs 24.6%, since Chesp buys its power from Celg. Chesp serves 25,000 clients in 10 municipalities of Goias state, and Celg serves 1.7 million clients in 237 municipalities in the state.
