Antioquia to launch 3 waterworks tenders
Colombia’s Antioquia department posted the preliminary bidding rules for three waterworks tenders worth 36.7bn pesos (US$10.5mn) in total.
The three projects are:
Támesis municipality aqueduct and sewer optimization (22bn pesos. LIC-37-02-2021 TAMESIS). This entails installing 17,603m of sewers and 12,620m of rain drainage pipelines, updating the local potable water treatment plant and adding 2,007m of water distribution lines, documents show.
Venecia municipality sewer and aqueduct master plan (9.2bn pesos. LIC-37-01-2021 VENECIA). This Involves adding a new water intake at the Galápago ravine, installing a 25m adduction line, a 674m conduction line, 1,208m worth of distribution lines and 6,108m worth of sewer pipelines.
Carepa municipality wastewater collection network, phase 3 (5.5bn pesos. LIC-37-03-2021 CAREPA). This entails installing 1,187m of sewer pipelines, among other things.
The full tenders are scheduled to be launched March 4.
