Argentina opens 3 bids for Buenos Aires highway works
Argentina’s highway authority Vialidad Nacional opened three offers for a contract to turn a section of national route 7 in Buenos Aires province into a divided highway, though all bids were significantly higher than the 2.1bn-peso (US$18mn) reference price.
The project involves widening a 1.35km stretch as well as installing two bridges at the intersections with provincial route 65 and JA Roca avenue in the city of Junín, documents show.
The bidders are:
Decavial (3.65bn pesos)
Vial Tec (3.60bn pesos)
José Cartellone Construcciones Civiles (3.18bn pesos)
