AXXEL Telecom expands fiber internet coverage by 24%
This is a machine translation of AXXEL Telecom's press release
Brazil, June 26, 2024 - AXXEL Telecom, a broadband internet provider, is expanding its fiber optic internet coverage with Wi-Fi Mesh in Santa Catarina state.
The company expanded its FTTH services with Wi-Fi Mesh to 20 cities in the state, including the capital Florianópolis and the main cities such as Joinville, Criciúma, Chapecó, Blumenau, Lages and Balneário Camboriú.
With the 24% coverage expansion (there were 889,000 HPs in 2023) carried out in the first half of 2024, AXXEL reached 1.1 million homes passed in the state.
AXXEL's Commercial Director, Felipe Scandelari, celebrates the expansion of the operator's coverage in Santa Catarina, which guarantees another option for high-speed internet access at competitive prices for customers in Santa Catarina:
“We intend to continue expanding its presence in Santa Catarina, serving not only large cities, but also more remote areas that do not yet have access to high-speed internet. We believe that connectivity is essential for the development of any region and we are committed to bringing this benefit to as many people as possible. Furthermore, AXXEL is focused on offering a quality service, with competitive prices and personalized attention. The company invests in training its employees to ensure that customers have a satisfactory experience in all aspects.”
In January 2024, AXXEL expanded its presence to 180 cities in the country and to almost all states such as Acre, Amazonas, Amapá, Bahia, Espírito Santo, Maranhão, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Paraíba, Piauí, Rio de Janeiro, Rondônia, Roraima and São Paulo. The company has been operating since June 2022 in the South region.
AXXEL is committed to bringing cutting-edge technology and connection quality to more and more Brazilians, always seeking the satisfaction and convenience of its customers.
“With the expansion of coverage in Santa Catarina, AXXEL reinforces its commitment to providing high-speed and reliable internet for the people of Santa Catarina, contributing to local development and the quality of life of its customers. The company continues to evolve and innovate, always looking for new ways to make people's lives easier through technology”, highlights the director of AXXEL.
Wi-Fi Mesh works through a network of access points that communicate with each other, ensuring uniform and interference-free coverage. This means that AXXEL Telecom customers will be able to enjoy a high-speed connection in all environments, even in locations further away from the main router. This expansion of internet coverage with Wi-Fi Mesh to more potential customers in the 20 cities of Santa Catarina demonstrates AXXEL Telecom's commitment to offering a quality and innovative service to its customers. Furthermore, the company is always investing in new technologies and infrastructure to ensure the satisfaction of its users.
The company invests in training its employees and cutting-edge technology to ensure customer satisfaction. With the expansion of its coverage to 180 cities across the country, AXXEL reaffirms its commitment to bringing quality internet to more and more Brazilians, contributing to digital inclusion and the country's technological development. The company continues to grow and plans to continue expanding its operations to offer an excellent service to an increasing number of users.
