
Bids for Guyana power grid package total US$550mn
Five groups submitted offers in Guyana Power and Light’s (GPL) tender for a package of project engineering, procurement, construction contracts.
The proposals totaled US$552mn, according to procurement information. The process was launched in June with a call for expressions of interest.
The dispatch infrastructure is for the Demerara Berbice interconnected system, the country’s largest grid.
