Bolivian state power generator Ende Guaracachi launched bidding to advance an early-stage solar project in Santa Cruz department.

The work entails carrying out the extended basic engineering for the 20MW Viru Viru photovoltaic park.

Proposals are due October 6, according to the procurement notice.

Guaracachi’s development pipeline includes solar projects Contorno Bajo (40MW), Santivañez (63MW) and Vinto (126MW).

The power producer, a subsidiary of state power company Ende, operates solar parks Uyuni (60MW) and Yunchará (5MW), and manages solar parks El Sena (400kWp), Cobija (5MW) and Oruro (100MW) for Ende.
