
Bolivia prepares three proposals for binational projects with Peru

"We have three important projects for the signing with our counterparts in Peru," said the Minister of Public Works, Services and Housing , Edgar Montaño, on Thursday, explaining the work that will be carried out in the Bolivian-Peru Binational Cabinet, scheduled for tomorrow Friday. and Saturday.
The proposals will be presented taking advantage of the first bilateral visit to the country by the President of Peru, Pedro Castillo.
The projects to be analyzed are the Bi-Oceanic Train, which aims to create a railway line between Brazil and Peru, to connect the entire continent and cross from the Atlantic to the Pacific oceans by land; the second proposal deals with fiber optics, which aims to expand services, helping the National Telecommunications Company ( ENTEL ) to operate in the neighboring country and the last project deals with border controls regarding radio and television.
Likewise, Montaño explained that his portfolio made progress in the studies for the execution of these projects and that they will be proposed based on time and logistics.
“These are three themes that we are going to touch on tomorrow and on Saturday. If we reach agreements and consensus, we will sign on Saturday, ”said Montaño.
