Bolivia relaunches tender to supervise hydro project

Bolivia’s state power company Ende issued a second call to supervise completion of the 204MW Miguillas hydro project.

The original tender was declared void because none of the offers fulfilled requirements, said Ende, which did not disclose the names of participants.

The 28.8mn-boliviano (US$4mn) contract will run for 750 days and includes an additional 180 days for final reception, according to reference terms available here and in the Documents box in the top right corner of the screen.

Proposals are due October 6.

Physical advancement of the plant topped 40% at end-June.

Ende also has bidding underway to oversee construction of wind farms La Ventolera (9MW) and Warnes II (36MW).
