Bolivia updates calls to supervise hydro, wind projects

At least 11 groups are eyeing Bolivian state power company Ende’s tender to supervise completion of the 204MW Miguillas hydro project.

Potential bidders that attended an information meeting and/or submitted inquiries include Anglostar Energy, Applus, Bolpegas, Civial, Empresa de Ingenieria y Construcción, Engevix, Estabiliza Ingeniería, Iatasa, Intec, Norcontrol Chile and PCA Ingenieros Consultores.

The 28.8mn-boliviano (US$4mn) contract will run for 750 days and includes an additional 180 days for final reception. Following a change, offers are due August 28.

Ende also extended to September 12 the deadline in the call to oversee construction of wind farms La Ventolera (9MW) and Warnes II (36MW). The contract will run for 17 months.
