Bradesco to ratify US$270mn capital hike

The board of Brazil's largest private bank Banco Bradesco (NYSE: BBD) said in a statement that an annual and special shareholders' meeting on March 10 would ratify a 700mn reais (US$270mn) capital increase to bring the stock capital to 7.7bn reais. Bradesco is Brazil's biggest private sector bank in terms of overall market share.
