Brazil seeks gemstone consultancy firm
Brazil's mines and energy ministry launched a tender to hire a specialized gemstone consultancy firm to propose actions and policy guidelines.
The consultancy will also analyze technology and development deficiencies during the 18-month contract period, the ministry said in a statement.
"Among the requirements for participating companies is knowledge and experience of at least five years in activities related to the production chain in the gemstone sector in Brazil," the ministry said.
Financing will come from the Meta program, a collaboration between the mines and energy ministry and the World Bank.
