Brazilian Diamonds aims for AIM

Vancouver-based Brazilian Diamonds (TSX: BDY) has applied for listing on the London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market (AIM), due to the large interest in the company from European investors, the company said. The company also reported that it has reached agreement with South Atlantic Resources to pre-pay the outstanding amounts owing on Brazilian Diamond's acquisition of Cobre Sul Mineracao, the subsidiary which holds the Santo Antonio do Bonito properties. Brazilian Diamonds, formerly Black Swan, said that instead of paying the remaining US$1.03mn in installments until March 2005, South Atlantic has agreed to accept one payment of US$700,000 on December 15, this year, to fully settle the purchase.
