Brazilian infrastructure group EPR seeks to woo suppliers

Brazilian group EPR, a JV formed by infrastructure firm Equipav and fund manager Perfin, is planning to strengthen relationships with suppliers amid its robust pipeline of projects in the highway sector.

With operations in Minas Gerais and Paraná states, EPR currently manages more than 2,300km of highways under five concession contracts.

The group plans to invest 31.6bn reais (US$5.54bn) over the next 30 years in widening works, additional lanes, electronic toll collection systems and user support services.

To support the plans, the firm seeks to attract potential suppliers. In-person events will take place on October 24 in São Paulo, November 5 in Minas Gerais state capital Belo Horizonte, and on November 7 in Curitiba, capital of Paraná state.

“We are looking for companies that share our vision of efficiency and innovation to deliver safer and more modern highways. These events are an opportunity for new partners to be part of this movement and contribute to the infrastructure challenges that lie ahead,” engineering director Carlos Eduardo Xisto said in a statement.
