Brazil’s Asgaard submits best offer in Petrobras offshore support tender
Brazil’s Asgaard Navegação presented the lowest bid in a Petrobras tender for the chartering of up to three anchor-handling supply vessels (AHTS).
The company offered US$179.6mn, beating Asso Marítima Navegação (US$471mn), Solstad Shipping (US$536.9mn), CBO Serviços Marítimos (US$539mn), Companhia Brasileira de Offshore (US$568.9mn), Finarge Apoio Marítimo (US$682.5mn), Up Offshore Apoio Marítimo (US$810.4mn) and Oceanpact (US$1.496bn).
The tender documents are available on the state-run oil firm's procurement website Petronect, under ID number 7004269811.
AHTS units are mainly built to handle anchors for oil rigs, tow them to location and secure the rigs in place
OTHER TENDERS
Meanwhile, Petrobras is carrying out a bidding process to charter up to 12 Brazilian-flagged platform supply vessels (Petronect ID 7004265988), up to two PSVs (7004270127), up to six oil spill recovery vessels (7004294410), up to four fast supply vessels (7004288356) and five line handlers (7004289829).
