Brazil's Petrobras launches offshore drill rig tender
Brazil’s federal oil firm Petrobras has launched a tender to charter up to four offshore drill rigs equipped with dynamic positioning (DP) technology.
The process is split into three lots.
Lot 1 calls for the contracting of one high-specification dynamic positioning rig equipped with managed pressure drilling (MPD), real-time riser analysis and fairings.
Lot 2 involves one high-specification dynamic positioning rig equipped with real-time riser analysis.
And lot 3, up to two high-specification dynamic positioning rigs.
The tender documents are available on Petrobras’ procurement website Petronect, under ID number 7004290025.
According to oil and gas watchdog ANP, the firm has 28 offshore rigs hired, including drilling and intervention units.
