Brief: El Salvador concludes hearings on water bill
Hearings that the members of El Salvador's environment and climate change legislative committee held with NGOs, business associations and academic institutions on the general water bill that is currently being drafted have come to an end.
Some 20 groups attended the hearings to express their opinions on the bill, which has become a contentious topic in the country.
The committee is set to resume discussion of the bill next Tuesday.
