Cabei calls for supervision services for work on El Salvador education centers
The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (Cabei) requested expressions of interest from companies to participate in an education infrastructure refurbishing program in El Salvador.
The winners would supervise the design and refurbishing of 50 educational centers in La Libertad, Cabañas, Sonsonate, La Unión, Morazán, San Miguel and Santa Ana departments.
The schools were chosen by the ministry of education, science, and technology and require new buildings and rehabilitation or expansion works.
According to the announcement, Cabei will cover the entire costs of selecting and signing contracts with the winners, although no figures were disclosed. Bidders will be allowed to partner with other firms or contractors.
The expressions of interest can be filed until August 26 at the acquisition and contracts department of the ministry of education, science, and technology in San Salvador.
