Cabei seeks supervision services for Costa Rica waterworks
The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (Cabei) is requesting expressions of interests from companies who want to supervise water infrastructure works in Costa Rica.
According to tender 2022CPI-0001-PSCIAL-BCIE, local government has received Cabei funds to carry out sewage maintenance and construction in the aftermath of flooding in Limón province. These works are carried out by the national service for subterranean water, irrigation, and land drainage (Senara).
“The consulting services include supervision, follow up, and quality control of the infrastructure works that are part of the program of sewage and flood control for Limón overseen by Senara, such as the supervision and tracking of the project's environmental management plan,” according to the project documents.
Requirements may be requested via email licitaciones_senara_bcie_PCICL@senara.go.cr, and the deadline to submit expressions of interest is October 26. The winner will be determined according to cost-quality criteria.
Limón province is frequently affected by floods during wet season because the sewage system collapses.
