CAF plans US$160mn in infra. investments

The Andean Development Corporation (CAF) is reviewing investments of US$160mn for infrastructure works in Costa Rica, the CAF announced. Funds would be earmarked for Plan Puebla Panama (PPP) works, a multi-purpose pipeline, and roadworks, including an integration program with Panama and a bridge over the Sixaola river. The CAF will also work with the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (Cabei) to support the country's concessions, including the 66km San Jose-San Ramon corridor, estimated to cost a total US$168mn.
