Four international groups submitted offers in Bolivian state hydrocarbons company YPFB’s tender to help optimize natural gas and crude production.

The bidders were CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Engineering, DeGolyer and MacNaughton, Halliburton and Mediciones Geolec de Chile, procurement information shows.

The consultancy work will take around seven months and target 90 wells at mature fields.

Results of the call, launched last month, are expected in the coming weeks.

YPFB also has bidding underway to advance a proposed US$1.29bn second ammonia and urea plant. The deadline to submit offers was pushed back to June 23.

Meanwhile, Bolpegas, Inspección y Control de Calidad Ingenieros, and PSI & Asociados (PSI Automatización-JPX Ingeniería y Consultoría) filed bids in YPFB’s tender to supervise work for three satellite regasification stations.
