Canarc closes US$2mn financing

Vancouver-based Canarc Resource (TSX: CCM) has closed the previously announced private placement of 3.08 million units at Cdn$0.90 a piece to raise Cdn$2.77mn (US$2.11mn), the company said Monday. Proceeds will be added to working capital and used in part to fund the next phase of drilling on the Benzdorp property in Suriname.
