Mexico City October 6, 2021.- In continuity with the conversations with the federal and state government authorities related to the TMEC Corridor project, Caxxor Group today presents the status of progress of the project, whose master plan presented six years ago months has been recognized by organizations and governments as the best infrastructure and connectivity project in our country.
Last February CAXXOR had a round of presentations of the master plan, where they showed the first lines of the railway, the innovative proposal of a new port standard called Hybrid-CT that integrates different patents and designs with the main objectives of reducing costs and environmental impact and to which is added increasing the efficiency and speed of unloading a ship.
In these meetings, the firm presented the locations of the four industrial parks with an inland port that will strengthen this development.
1.- Durango
2.- La Laguna
3.- Monclova
4.- Nava
Carlos Ortiz, Director of the group, explained that the railway line is currently being completed at the basic engineering level, and that the firm has held meetings with the state governments regarding this project to notify the name of the companies that have shown interest. To establish itself in the TMEC corridor, "the fact that there are so many international companies seeking to be within the corridor, when we are not yet in the promotion stage, pays positively to confirm the overwhelming viability of the project", declared the manager.
Carlos Ortiz explained that the greatest advance in the last six months has been at the engineering level, and that CAXXOR is already in contact with the Ministry of Communications and Transportation, SCT, to review these advances.
The completed plans of the logistics centers were also presented, of which we already have the assets and most of the permits, “we only need to update some environmental impact studies and we will be 100% in terms of permits for the first stage of the first parks, and we will continue working with the companies that were hired for this first stage of engineering until we are ready to open tenders to the different construction areas, we seek to make it a project committed to the environment, but also to transparency, CAXXOR and the investors will only choose the project managers, in the rest of the areas there will be competitions where the most competitive companies will be assigned, which contribute more value to the communities and local companies to stimulate the regional economy ”, he concluded.
Regarding the financial model, he described that initially the project was signed with a consortium of institutional investors in the United States, however, they have been working with more investors due to the great interest that the project has aroused in the markets.
Carlos Ortiz thanked the significant support that the project has had from the Senate of the Republic, the support of the three governors of this corridor, as well as that of the mayors of Mazatlán, Lerdo, Gómez Palacio, and other cities where this TMEC project will arrive. , stressed that the support of the federal executive and the Ministry of Communications and Transportation are and will be fundamental for this project in which the doors have been open to rail investment and did not rule out CAXXOR's participation in new train projects in the next few months.
Caxxor informed that it has redoubled efforts to achieve the best results with this project, and for this, in April, Caxxor changed its original headquarters from the United Kingdom to the state of Texas in the USA, the change of Caxxor international headquarters will further promote this mega project and the opening of offices in northern Mexico is planned for 2022, which will strengthen its operations in Mexico City and New York as the main offices for North America.
The new international headquarters in Texas will review the projects from a legal, technical and financial point of view and will continue to improve infrastructure technology for the TMEC Corridor.
