CCB to join Carifs ATM network

Bnamericas
Caribbean Commerical Bank (CCB) has applied to join the Carifs ATM network just one month after the bank was acquired by Trinidad-based RBTT Financial Holdings, Barbados Advocate reported. "We have applied to join Carifs, so RBTT bank will be part of the Carifs group to provide debit card point of sale services through the local network," CCB president and CEO Benedict de Castro told the paper. CCB customers should have access to the Carifs bank card network in about three months' time, he said. "Customers have indicated to me that there has been some inconvenience and an extra charge as a result of CCB being outside of the network, and trying to operate with its own proprietary system," De Castro added.
