Cemig to issue US$129mn in debentures in H1

Brazil's Minas Gerais state power company Cemig intends to issue 400mn reais (US$129mn) in debentures in the first half of this year, the company's investor relations manager Luiz Fernando Rolla announced Thursday evening. The company has a program to raise up to 1.5bn reais, which is currently being analyzed by the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM). The company also plans to issue US$200mn in five-year medium-term notes, out of a budgeted US$500mn. by Raquel Massote
