Chile launches Los Ríos bridge tender
Chile’s roadworks authority launched a 14.3bn-peso (US$14.5mn) tender to build a new bridge over the Collilelfú river in southern region Los Ríos, as well as the access roads.
The contract covers work on a total of 1.3km, including the 270m bridge to replace a mechanical structure installed in 2014. The new bridge will be 75m upstream from the temporary structure, documents show.
Technical proposals will be opened on March 6 and bids a week later.
Bidding documents can be seen here (in Spanish).
