
Colombia calls for bids to supervise La Dorada-Chiriguaná rail corridor PPP

Colombia's infrastructure agency ANI has called a tender to contract supervision services for the La Dorada-Chiriguaná freight rail corridor PPP.
The estimated term of the contract, budgeted at around US$21mn, is 72 months, including the pre-construction, construction and operation and maintenance stages.
Comments on the specifications will be accepted until March 13 and the final specifications will be published on March 20.
Bids will be accepted on April 15, with contract signing scheduled for May 27.
Details can be found on the Secop public procurement portal, under process number VJ-VGCON-CM-002-2025.
The US$600mn PPP is expected to be awarded April 3.
The PPP includes construction, improvements, maintenance and operations on the 526km rail corridor between the municipalities of La Dorada, in Caldas department, and Chiriguaná in Cesar, as well as the commissioning, operation and maintenance of the rolling stock.
