Colombia launches tenders for Risaralda road link
Colombian highway authority Invías launched tenders for a combined 3.89bn pesos (US$919,000) related to the second Cerritos-La Virginia link in Risaralda department.
Details are available on procurement platform Secop II by putting PAF-INVIAS-C-010-2023 or PAF-INVIAS-I-067-2023 in the datos de procesos box and clicking Buscar.
A contract to carry out the studies and create the design will be signed November 10, as work should start November 14. The contract will be valid through December 2024.
Another contract, valid through February 2025, involves the comprehensive auditing of the studies and design, including technical, financial and environmental aspects. Contract signing is scheduled for November 14 and work should start November 16.
Both contracts are part of the Vías del Samán regional infrastructure financing program.

Personnel of infrastructure agency ANI and representatives from South Korea exchanged views on mobility and sustainable infrastructure related to new rail and airport projects to increase competitiveness.
The Gustavo Petro administration is seeking to award projects for 30tn pesos before its term ends in August 2026 to reactivate more than 1,800km of rail networks.

This year, urban development agency IDU will re-tender section 1 and section 2 of the Green Corridor along Avenida Séptima in Bogotá because no bids were submitted in the tender closing October 9.
Both sections require a combined US$203mn.
IDU received three offers for the northern section. Bidders are Consorcio Vial del Norte, made up of Indugravas Ingenieros Constructores, Coherpa Ingenieros Constructores and Incoherp Ingenieros Constructores; THC Corredor Verde 99, comprising Termotécnica Coindustrial, HB Metallic Structures and Compañía de Iluminaciones Especiales; and CC-P 7ma L3 Consortium, formed by Constructora Conconcreto, Conconcreto Proyectos, Autopista Sumapaz and Procopal.
Awarding will take place on October 26.
