Colombia’s Celsia begins permitting for Toluviejo transmission works

Colombian energy firm Celsia has filed an environmental permitting request for a 128bn-peso (US$33mn) power transmission project in the country's north. 

Works entail a new substation in the municipality of Toluviejo and associated 220kV power lines, according to documents published by national licensing authority ANLA

The project will be developed by Celsia's subsidiary Empresa de Energía del Pacífico (EPSA). 

In the oil and gas sector, Marine NRG filed a permitting request for a refinery and petrochemical project in Cartagena. Total investment in the initiative is expected to reach 7.5bn pesos.
