Colombia's ETB launches market consultation for power network expansion
Colombian telecommunications company ETB has launched a market consultation to gather technical and economic proposals for the supply of equipment and services for the replacement and expansion of its energy network.
The company operates in capital Bogotá and at the end of June had 610,000 clients, according to figures from the ICT ministry.
The consultation seeks quotes to renew and expand its backup energy system in case of power outages on the commercial electricity grid.
The call includes goods and services for the assembly, installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of rectifier systems, inverters, battery banks and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
Companies must express interest by November 25. The deadline for submitting proposals is December 16.
