Cremer Óleo becomes the first industry to be authorized to export Paraguayan biodiesel to the US and Europe

The directors of Cremer Óleo agreed to thank the National Government for its permanent accompaniment, through the MIC, because in "record time" they managed to make the construction and start of operations of the Paraguayan biodiesel industry a reality.
The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Luis Alberto Castiglioni, said that "the success of an investment of these characteristics represents wealth for Paraguay, generation of sources of employment, development and opportunities for thousands and thousands of people, through value chains, from providers".
"We are talking here about giving greater added value here to a primary product, which at this time will be exported not only as crude oil, but with a very important surplus value. It has an application of innovation and technology that also constitutes added value, that is, transfer of knowledge and technology, and added value for our primary products. Knowing that they are successful is the greatest satisfaction for us," said Castiglioni.
INVESTMENT OF US$ 30 MILLION
The Vice Minister of Industry, Francisco Ruiz Díaz, said that the company of German origin, made an investment in the initial phase of 13 million dollars, but that is around a total of USD 30 million, with a production capacity in a plant of about 112 million liters per year of biofuels, with the raw material of soybean oil.
"At its maximum capacity it generates direct jobs for 200 people, while more than 500 people in the area work indirectly," he added.
ALREADY SUPPLY LOCAL EMBLEMS
Currently the industry has been operating since May of the current year, supplying local emblems with a production of more than one million liters of biodiesel. Among them are well-known national market companies such as Copetrol, Petrobras, Montealegre, Puma and Petropar, Ruiz Díaz also explained.
According to the projections from the industrial sector, for the second phase of development and expansion in the following years, it is planned to double the installed capacity and begin the expansion, diversification and modernization of the industrial process to build the first biorefinery in Paraguay, Ruiz added. Diaz.
According to the estimates of the Vice Minister of Industry, the firm will achieve an economic injection of USD 50 million, thus totaling the investment that would be around USD 80 million, and will thus promote the generation of new direct jobs for some 300 more people.

The national industry Cremer Óleo Paraguay SA has been operating since May 2, 2023 under the special regime of Law 60/90 within the framework of the new industrial policy applied by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, with the essential objective of promoting actions to attract investment to Paraguay and the generation of new direct and indirect jobs within the industrial chain.
