Danilo Jara Aguilera takes over as director of regulation and public policies at ACESOL

We are delighted to welcome Danilo Jara Aguilera as our new Director of Regulation and Public Policy at ACESOL. Danilo is an Electrical Civil Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC), holds a Diploma in Environmental Studies from UC, a Master's Degree in Engineering Sciences from UC, and is currently a PhD candidate in Engineering Sciences from UC. In addition, he is a Rapporteur for the Ibero-American School of Electrical Regulation at UC.
With an outstanding eight-year career in the Sustainable Energy Regulation Unit of the Ministry of Energy of Chile, Danilo has dedicated his career to building regulation for distributed energy resources, reaching the position of head of this unit from 2022 until July 31, 2024. His commitment and vision have been fundamental to the development of renewable energies in Chile.
