Del Bank to focus on migrants' remittances

Ecuadorian bank Del Bank of the business group Delgado started operating last Monday becoming the 23rd bank in the local system. Del Bank targets the transfer of family remittances, as well as savings and current accounts, credit cards, fixed term deposits, loans for micro enterprises and for home improvement. Taking advantage of the experience of Delgado Travel, another company in the group, the bank will place a strong emphasis on transfer of resources from abroad to Ecuador. A new branch should be opened within a six months period in Quito, and on one year more it is expected another branch in Manta, as well as an additional in Cuenca, that will be ready at the end of next year.
