Digital Government: the 2024/2027 Strategic Plan was presented

The Undersecretary of Digital Government of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Government, Sandra D'Agostino, presented the guidelines of the area's 2024/2027 Strategic Plan to authorities from the IT sectors of the ministries and agencies of the provincial State.

The Plan aims to implement a new digital infrastructure and contemplates the development of comprehensive projects with focuses on the protection of critical infrastructure, technological sovereignty and digital solutions focused on citizens.

"The proposal focuses on improving connectivity and reducing the digital divide, through efficient management of available resources and generating more efficient processes for better functioning of the State for citizens," said D'Agostino and added: "In addition The Plan seeks to launch the first Data Center in the province of Buenos Aires, optimize telecommunications services, strategically plan IT Areas and promote direct communication with the population and access to information.”

The Strategic Plan also contemplates improvements in transversal use platforms (SSO, ESB, Digital Administration); comprehensive cybersecurity management; the definition of policies for the management of ICTs and the new Provincial Cloud that includes virtualization and “cloud”. These comprehensive projects will seek to generate efficiency in spending and reduce operating costs, save on technological infrastructure and implement digital security policies.
