Dynacor hails gold discovery at Acari

Montreal-based miner Dynacor (TSX-V: DYN) reported the "discovery" of a previously unknown gold-rich vein on its Acari property in southwest Peru's Arequipa department. The structure, dubbed Carnero Ramal Oeste, splits off from the known Carnero Principale with outcroppings visible for at least 600m, and apparently open to the northwest. An initial 22 surface samples have returned gold grades between 2.8g/t and 104.g/t with widths ranging from 0.15m to 0.52m, it said in a statement. Dynacor said it was systematically sampling the vein to validate the findings. Carnero Principale has an estimated resource of 483,840t grading 17.1g/t for 266,000oz of gold. Dynacor is currently mining Block 1 of Carnero Principale.
