Eclac book looks at traffic congestion

The transport division of the UN's Economic Commission for Latin America & the Caribbean (Eclac) has published a book titled "Congestion de transito: el problema y como enfrentarlo," which looks at Latin America's growing traffic congestion and ways to solve this dilemma. According to the book, the explosive increase in vehicle ownership levels in the region is placing a great and growing pressure on the capacity of existing public highways.
