Ecopetrol contracted with local suppliers more than $ 1.8 billion in the first seven months

 Central Regional: (which includes operations in Antioquia, Bolívar, Boyacá, Caldas, Cesar, Cundinamarca, Norte de Santander and Santander) contracted $ 428,000 million with local suppliers from Barrancabermeja, Bucaramanga, Floridablanca, Girón, Sabana de Torres, Yondó, Tibú and Puerto Wilches, among others, mainly goods and services such as: integral works, tank maintenance, surveillance and health services, among others.

 Orinoquía Regional: (Casanare, Arauca and Meta not including Puerto Gaitán) contracted $ 182,000 million with local suppliers of Yopal, Villavicencio, Tauramena, Aguazul, Guamal and Acacías, mainly in integral works, restaurant and catering services and ground transportation, among others .

 Caribbean Regional: (Atlántico, Bolívar, Cesar, Córdoba, Chocó, La Guajira, Magdalena and Sucre) contracted $ 105,000 million with local suppliers in Cartagena, Barranquilla, Puerto Colombia and Pasto, among others. These contracts were mainly focused on civil works, health services, maintenance and construction of pipelines.

● South Regional: (part of Antioquia, Caldas, Caquetá, Cauca, Huila, Putumayo, Quindío, Risaralda, Tolima and Valle) contracted $ 77,000 with local suppliers in Neiva, Orito, Palermo, Cali, Medellín and Puerto Caicedo, among others, to comprehensive works, land transportation, restaurants and catering and health services, among others.

● Regional Oriente: (Puerto Gaitán and Puerto López) contracted $ 14,000 million with local suppliers of Puerto Gaitán in comprehensive works, tank maintenance and health services, among others.

New markets for local suppliers

According to the figures reported by our allied companies, as of June 2020, commercial contracts were generated with local suppliers for $ 845,000 million and local exports for $ 555,000 million for a total figure that amounts to $ 1.4 billion (See attached infographic) .
