Ecuador receives offers for power transmission work
Thirteen groups submitted offers in Ecuadoran state power corporation Celec’s tender to build dispatch infrastructure to help cover demand in the in the south and southeast.
The bidders after the US$17.8mn, 747-day contract to build the 138kV Delsitanisagua-Cumbaratza line (20km) and 230kV lines Cumbaratza-Los Encuentros (45km) and Los Encuentros-Bomboiza (30km) were:
– Consorcio Power Electric (US$17.5mn)
– Astudillo Guillen Construcciones y Servicios de Ingeniería (US$17mn)
– Consorcio Procemec (US$16.1mn)
– Consorcio Línea Cumbaratza (US$15.7mn)
– Consorcio Work-PR (US$16.4mn)
– Xian Electric Engineering (US$16.3mn)
– Pileggi Construcciones (US$16.3mn)
– Consorcio Volta (US$15.9mn)
– Consorcio Sur Oriental (US$15.7mn)
– Consorcio Atlas (US$16.2mn)
– Consorcio Zamora (n/a)
– Fabian Rodrigo Pumagualli Llerena (US$16mn)
The links will transport production from the Delsitanisagua, Sabanilla, Villonaco, Huascachaca and Huayrapamba power plants.
Celec also received seven proposals for an US$11.2mn, 680-day contract to expand the Cumbaratza, Bomboiza and Loja substations:
– Consorcio Electrico Subestaciones Sur (US$10.6mn)
– Astudillo Guillen Construcciones y Servicios de Ingeniería (US$10.5mn)
– Consorcio Procemec (US$8.84mn)
– Consorcio ONCE EME (US$10.7mn)
– Pileggi Construcciones (US$9.8mn)
– SEDEMI Servicios de Mecanica Industrial, Diseño, Construccion y Montaje (US$10.9mn)
– Xian Electric Engineering (US$11mn)
The procurement processes were launched in June.
