Elcoteq to manufacture Wi-Fi equipment in Monterrey

Electronics manufacturer Elcoteq Network Corporation has signed an agreement to manufacture Wi-Fi systems for US-based Strix Systems in its Monterrey, Mexico, plant, according to a statement from the companies. Strix Systems' flagship product, Access/One Network, is a wireless LAN system providing management and security features. It supports multiple radio frequency technologies - 802.11a, 802.11b/g, and Bluetooth - within a secure and scalable network. The products will be used in enterprises worldwide.
